You will form your trainees in real-life conditions

Our Mobile Harbour Crane (MHC) simulator is designed to safely train operators for certain points of vigilance that may be encountered in real-life conditions, such as:

  • Move the crane to the work area
  • Observe all precautions to be taken when moving the crane
  • Take all necessary precautions to stabilize and balance the crane before starting work.
  • Working with and without visibility
  • Working with trucks
  • Containers of different weights and sizes
  • Loading or unloading a cargo hold
  • Working on the upper deck of the ship
  • Respect the abacuses

You will measure and monitor your trainees’ results

During practice sessions, our simulator measures the driver’s skills according to certain criteria and objectives, including:

  • Knowledge of the machine
  • Precise maneuvering
  • Managing the transition between travel/handling and parking modes
  • Time to hang the container
  • Container drop-off time
  • Precise container removal
  • Average pick-up/drop-off time for a container
  • Safe driving

You will analyze the development of skills and generateindividual assessments andevaluations of skills acquired.

Our simulators are connected live to our supervision software (GSTA), allowing you to import, store trainee data and export their results at any time, according to the training path you have assigned to them: we have a panel of predefined, turnkey curricula designed for training port terminal operators.

This machine is equipped with a multi-machine control package compatible with 5 port machines. For each machine, a set of silk-screened plates indicates the location and operation of each control, in line with the real machine.
